This 240-Degree Replacement Motion Sensor is designed with a longer pivot arm, allowing for 180 degrees of vertical and 300 degrees of horizontal adjustability. This makes it easier to aim the sensor in the desired direction, making it suitable for a variety of outdoor and indoor wall and eave mount applications, such as porches, backyards, front doors, garages, driveways, walkways, and steps.
In terms of specifications, the motion sensor operates on 120 VAC, 60 Hz power and has a sensing angle of up to 240 degrees. The detection range is adjustable up to 60 ft (18m), with the actual range varying based on the surrounding temperature. The sensor offers several modes of operation: TEST, AUTO, D2D (Dusk-to-Dawn), and MANUAL OVERRIDE, with a time delay ranging from 10 seconds to 10 minutes.
The electrical load capacity is a maximum of 300W for incandescent lamps and 72W for LED drivers/bulbs. The working temperature range is -30°C to 50°C.
In AUTO mode (Motion Sensor mode), the sensor will turn on the connected lights when motion is detected in the dark. The 360-degree downward detection range is 18 ft, and the 240-degree forward detection range is 10-60 ft, with adjustable illumination time from 10 seconds to 10 minutes.
In D2D mode (Dusk-to-Dawn), the sensor automatically turns the connected lights on at night and off during the day, with an on/off trigger range of 50-250 LUX and an off/on trigger of up to 800 LUX.
The MANUAL OVERRIDE mode allows the user to turn the wall switch off and on within 3 seconds, which will keep the connected lights on for 8 hours before automatically reverting to the AUTO mode.
